I just got my new carb adapter plate for my 6/71. It was made by Arron over at Savage speed, he is a member here on the H.A.M.B. I have to say that this is one of the best speed parts I have purchased, it is very clear the time and care that was put into these parts. If you are looking for something for that hot rod chec with Savage first.

I'm wearing Speedo's and a cape today but I still think Aaron rocks.
I'd rip off your door panel idea if I didn't like you so much. I'll call ya tonight.

Dunno his number, but you can PM Savage here on the board...

  9. Aaron is a great guy --- I purchased a Early Hemi valley cover from him -- nice piece of work. I'm also purchasing the same 6-deuce 6-71 manifold from him.

I'm going to use it on my blown 392 when I'm in a vintage 50's mode. It's a pain in the ass to setup 6 of anything, but it sure makes an early rod look cool! I also have a 6-deuce setup for a 4-71, that I'm going to run 81's on for my blown flatty. I think I must just be screwed in the fricking head . . . should have never ran that first blower --- can't go back once you do!

wow thanks everyone for you posts..

I have tried to bring higher quality parts to the market and make parts other people don't have.

Don Garlits even bought one of my blower tops and wrote me this afterwards

    "Aaron,
The blower top is great, have a Merry Christmas.
    Thanks,
    Don Garlits"

So that was really cool. Everyone has been very happy and I get alot of compliments on the parts I have been selling.. I appreciate all of your compliments also. Hopefully I can bring some new parts to the market next year also. I have a couple of things I am working on. I will also have some new stuff up on the website in the next week or so..

    Thanks Again

Aaron you know I'll give ya props. You basically talked me through and into running a flathead caddy to be different. I knew absolutely nothing about the Caddys a year ago, and now.....well I know slightly more than nothing but I've got a cool mill to show for it. And our dealings together have been beneficial on both sides, and you've been nothing but standup. I look forward to seeing what all you unviel in the future! If you ever make it to Tejas you know you got a warm bed, and cold beer waiting for ya.

Man, that was a day or so ago…….
The six x two blower top is still in my parts stash along with the valley cover. I often wondered if Aaron was still making parts. I kinda fell out of the flow of things, kids and work will do that. Funny though, I just bought a 29 A coupe and happen to have an over stock bored 354…….. perhaps this thread resurfaced to remind me of all the fun a traditional hot rod brings to the table.
Aaron, if your out there, give a shout out to us and let us know what’s cookin with the cool kids today.
