And I also like later cars done up in a late '50s style. (the b&w photo isn't a custom per se, it is a car that Exner built)
I have a book of kustoms that that guy put together. It has a few extra pics in it. That shot is the cover.
thats cliff inmans 57 chrysler newyorker. built by joe wilhelm. the orange and white one is a 58 chrysler built by gene winfeild for richard zocchi then sold to john d'augustino
If I'm not mistaken, Brian Setzer owned the orange Chrysler somewhere along the line. Amazing how much knowledge there is on this board, as well as a collection of pictures that won't quit. This post is gonna be huge!
Some here, pretty mild. I like the candy green -55 vert called the "Hawaiian", if anybody have some more pics of it I would really like to see them. And that Ranchero definitly deserves a better name...
THE CAR IS IN FINLAND...AND EVEN FOR SALE IF INTERESTED PALLE http://www.dudes.dk/chrysler custom/chrysler custom.htm
My all times favorite : 1. Hirohata Merc : every square inch have been modified and it still has a sweet and smooth mild design 2. The Aztec : every square inch have been modified and its the best wild design i've ever seen 3. Levingston's Merc : I dig every thing build by paul Bragg but this is a pure beauty ! But please, don't look inside , it has the uglyest interior i've ever seen !
The "Victorian" is at John Kouw's Cruisin' Customs shop, in Holland, Michigan, in the process of complete restoration...back to the original look. R- That's "Livingston"...not Levingston...
