    Our 1963 mercury Monterey is almost done , should be making it to jalopy showdown Saturday .     Does that rear window roll down? It looks like theres a track in the pic.

    Yea that window rolls down. Looks down to me in the pic. Think it was called a Breezeway window.

    Boy does this bring back memories....my Dad bought a 63 Merc breeze way 4 door brand new. I was 11 years old then and thought it was the coolest car on earth until I found out it a 6 pistons instead of 8. My Dad cursed that gutless car until the day he bought a 65 Merc with a 352 in it...that was the car I learned to drive in. Strangely, my future FIL bought a new 66 Merc breezeway with a 428 Marauder that would absolutely fly....thanks for the memories.

    Yes the rear window is power up and down , the suspension is air ride all around , 2 leafs removed . Ours has the fe 390 big block in it . Thanks for all the compliments
