Could someone pst pics of a '32 5W full fendered with 600-"16 WWW tires please. I'm making a descision. Thanks.
Thanks for the picture. Tire size close so I'll consider it. That car is simply elegentally gorgeous. Is it your's or just a photo you had. I'd love more info on it.
Ok I'm not good at this so please forgive the mistakes. It was built by Don Coleman in late 60s in Denver Colorado. The body is completely rust and patch free. The only body mod was 39 tailites were installed when built and then removed in the late 70s, I have pair of original 39 lights located I plan to reinstall. The frame is not boxed and wishbones have not been split it has friction shocks. Don put a sbc in with a 39 trans and banjo rear it has all Lincoln brakes. Ron Garcia bought it from Don in 1975 painted it maroon and chromed everything and I mean everything. Steve Markwell Bought it from Ron in 1988 and didn't do much with it. he p***ed away and his son sold it to me for my son a few years ago . My son wanted 3W so I got the 5W and he got a 3W that had been in hideing for over 50 years and he and the Deluxe Speed shop boys [Scot and Brian McCann] just freshened it up Actually alot more than that but didnt change it . Its cool. WE have a real cool flathead that came out of a roadster from cailf. with all original speed equipment I plan on installing this fall. There is alot more than that to the story but this has taken me an hour to do this
j3harleys- ct1932ford on here has a 32-5w coupe which is known as the Coleman coupe and was built in Denver by Don Coleman. Car was previously owned by Neal East of Denver before Mark got it. He is doing a freshen-up on it at present, search for his posts. So was there 2 Coleman coupes?
Thanks for the info. Has the coupe been chopped? If so it looks to be very minimal. Again, that is one gorgeous 5W coupe!
Here is a '32 5-Window that we restored a few years back at our shop, Early V8 Garage. Tire sizes are 6.00-16 front and 7.00-16 rear.
550 x16 looks good, IMO. I have 450/475 x 16 on hi boy and they look to small. I think 600 x 16 look to big. Fendered or not doesn't seem to make much difference.
Thanks for all the replies. Keep them coming. What do you guys think re: the first photo; no chop or chopped?
Well I revisited this post and realized I steered it way off course. So back on course and looking for pics of a. '32 5W with 16" tires all around...
