Thanks Rusty its the stock chassis with a "No Limit" mustang II front end and bags and their 4 link rear end kit and bags, air controls and pumps are air ride technologies, all welded in. I bought it all as a kit from No Limit there were no real issues with the install. Motor is a 383 sbc and a turbo 400 trans

My favorite -'87 4X4 Chebbie. Not really old enough, but I thought the cargo might make up for it! Pisser truck I bought from the original owner with 79K on the dial.

I just adopted this one yesterday. All stock, unrestored and totally unmolested '50 F-1. 8-BA flathead with optional remote oil bath air cleaner, optional 4-speed, stump-puller rear gears, factory overload springs, wooden bed floor, optional trim rings and original cigar lighter. It's even supposed to run - and looks like it will given a careful "wake up" from a 5-year slumber in New Mexico.

I've been looking for a totally traditional swap meet beater truck for quite some time and I think this one will work out just fine. I'm going to try to keep the flathead/4-speed but will update with a 9-inch and some highway gears. If the flathead is no good, "plan B" includes a small block Chevy adapted to the original 4-speed.

It'll get a traditional lowering treatment using a Nostalgia Sid's 3" dropped axle, 3" front and rear lowering springs, 15" '48 Mercury wheels with big 'n' little rubber. And that's about it. I even like the paint - or what's left of it.

We'll see how it goes. I spent the day today fixing the windows so they'll go up and down...and shoveling out 5 years worth of rat shit. Tomorrow maybe I'll see if the flathead will light off.

    It's all good.

Got the Unibody up and running. So far everything is working well electrically so Im going to find someplace to order some quality connectors and shorten up and pretty up the wiring harness.

    Next up is the interior.

Yeah thanks, I'm probably going a bit overboard, but I want to make it as nice as I can on my budget.

My 1940 Ford, since this photo I have added a front bumper and 74cc Edelbrock heads. I bought it off the original owner he was 82. I was told by the owner he ordered the '40 with the stronger grill for the farm. I've only seen this grill on two '40's.
