1952-59 Ford Headliner

    Does anybody have any recomendations on where to get a real good quality headliner hopefully as a kit with the tension springs . i have the bows but the springs that go on the ends had disolved into small piles of rust

    headliner 001.JPG I got my kit from http://www.automotiveinteriors.com/ I was very happy with the quality of the kit, and especially happy with the quality of the fabric. Sorry..don't know about the retaining wires. You can pick out fabrics from their online site and they'll send you a swatch board. Not sure if there is a refundable charge for the samples, but a must do imho. View attachment 2660430

    Thats nice and i had a look but im after a black vinyl type one as im building a custom 55 and not doing a restoration

    Almost nothing on mine is stock also. Did you check their website? They carry vinyls as well, with 8 or 10 blacks to chose from.
