Hey guys first time poster, i picked up a 1964 country squire with a freshly rebuilt 390 and rebuilt c4 to go along with it. the car has a notched frame and the guy i got it from planned to have it on air suspension and il have to clean up the mess he made along with finding original Bench seats, dash pad, entire new floor pan, headliner. id like to find the original faux wood trim for the exterior but i feel that wont be happening. so ive decided that il just do the galaxie 500 chrome trim along the sides. the only problem is I CANNOT FIND PARTS ANYWHERE. THERE HAS TO BE A RE-POP site somewhere. Also ill post pics later of the car im going to need some advice as to how i should finish out this front and rear air ride. Here are the things im looking for -Headliner -Original steering wheel -floor pans -original bench seats -Dash pad -Galaxie 500 side trim -Odds and ends things
Why didnt you completely fill out your entry profile so we could see where the hell you live and reccommend someone in your area?
I have a 64 wagon junked. no engine trans or rearend. It still has the seats & floor pan steering wheel and some of the trim. It never ever had any dash pad. I have been planning on hauling it to the scrapper . however im a long way from florida. and I don't ship parts. bring $400 and a trailer and you can take the whole car.
I suggest you put a wanted ad in the classifieds. You night check with flat top bob (Owens Auto Salvage) and see if he has any '64 Fords in inventory and these parts... -Original steering wheel -original bench seats -Dash pad -Galaxie 500 side trim -Odds and ends things Check with the local trim shops for a headliner,,most of them can reproduce your old head liner. It is approximately 900 miles to OF's place,,I'll bet you would end up paying twice that much or more for the parts you are looking for. HRP
What did the guy you got it from do with the seats, floor pieces etc.I would ask. Some of the stuff you mentioned should be the same on a easier to find sedan.
