Technical Everett Wa, Anyone who can braze up a brass part?

    Or suggest someone who might be able to do it. I have a buddy who needs a bras part repaired. I don't think it is a big or complicated project, I just need someone with some skills to send him to. PM me with contact info.

    Rick at Walrus Machine just moved his shop up there from Ballard. I've seen an Offy he welded back together....I'm sure he could do it.

    If it doesn't have high strength requirements, it could also be silver soldered or just plain soldered.

    Actually, with the proper selection of silver solder alloy (grade) and correctly applied, a silver soldered part is far superior to a brazed part.
     
  6. Try a radiator shop....they solder br*** all day long.....
