They are not that heavy to do , they just need a lot of patience.

 

After 50 or so hours taping and painting my roof on the bel I went to fix a couple of thing that were bugging me.....now I'm repainting the entire car! That is after some major metal reworking. Pics when I get that far, but the older I get the longer it takes! Hahaha

just a quicky job on my mailbox. Wasnt too worried about the tape lines I just wanted to test out a fade with Kandy. Think I got that nailed.

 

They're a lot easier to put on than to take off .

One of the threads I always open up if there's something new on it! Don't contribute much, as most of my paint is for customers, and they tend to be VERY conservative 'round here!

 

I have been designing layouts for friends. Some I will be painting soon. What do you guys think.

Here's a few pictures of my daily driver I sprayed the roof on a few months ago. It's a 2000 S10, so it's not a traditional rod, but I figured the roof at least belonged in this thread. I did it with Painthuffer Metalflake's silver bullet flake, SEM's mint green candy, HoK's pagan gold kandy, some airbrushed graphics and shadows, a little bit of copper leaf, and Kansas City teal One Shot.

Here it is right after the first clear session.

Outside the next day.

After cutting, leafing, stripes, and re clearing.

Thanks fellas! Here's a couple more pieces I've done. A lot of these we're done for panel swaps with other stripers and painters. Some were just for fun/practice.

Tank I painted and striped.

Sign I painted for the shop I used to work for.

I have more planned to do, but they're not quite there yet. And as you can see, I have a problem and can't seem to quit! Sorry for such a big post. I just felt this stuff belongs here seeing as this thread has inspired me for a long time now.

I didn't buy it actually. My old boss, who flaked this one found a couple on eBay I think.

 

Mannequin finally out in the sun! It's very difficult to capture on camera what this thing does outside! I'm pretty happy with it!
