That would indeed be awkward, then. I'd mistaken it for this one. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1948-ford-club-coupe.936989/ You may see why! lol.

We just pulled mine back outside and moved out back to get it ready to pull the body back off. I can't believe how solid this car is. Here's my boy scrubbing the floors so we can look for rot. We did find one spot other than the surface patch in front of the drivers seat...in the recess for the spare. Everything else is rock solid.

Just a quick peek underneath...looks like I've got some room to play with the ride height with this parallel conversion.

I've got some catchin' up to do with you guys. I move slow. Very slow. But I've got one helluva foundation. Never had that before...it's...weird!

Thanks! The rear is just a reversed eye spring, one leaf pulled and 2" Tardel lowering shackles. Did have to build an adjustable track bar for the rear tho.

Is that grill modified? The overall design works great

'50 Plymouth grill here, I think, without the turn signals. The '49 looks great as well. Not mine nor have I done it, but I believe they go in easily aside from needing to bring the panel between it and the hood out to meet it.

Yes, I should have checked before commenting. I am still picking up on the differences between the three years, but Club v Biz coupe should have been obvious. Either way, I like 'em both.

  8. That's a cool car, Paolo! I like how the trunk opening extends the body line.

    Build details?

    Hidden,
Can you give specifics of how you dropped your car. I have a 46 that's on the way to being done and the last thing is to drop it like yours.
    Thanks

  19. Is this what you have occupying your time since the more-door '32 found a new home?

How 'bout the Tony Fenn '46? Still looks good. Tony Fenn \'46 in \'56.jpg

  21. Yeah it does...it really does.

  22. This was (presumably) a Barris car, but according to Rik Hoving, the owner was never identified. Inspiration for my buddy T&A Flathead...:D
