Krylon has some dull aluminum that's pretty convincing.

I was told by a guy on the Ford Barn that a PPG single stage urethane DCC 586 which is a Chrysler color is fairly close.

I also remember Henry Dana using a orange on the wheels and insert on his wife's primered coupe and it looked great. HRP

The insert looks like it was a grey originally. Is that the case?

Sounds weird but.... green. I saw a 32 Vicky with a green insert and it looked great. Look for pics of Wayne's speed shop in NJ.

I'm partial to Hugger Orange, use it on the wheels on most of my cars and plan on using it on the insert on the 32 grill on my Model A I'm working on now.

Navy Blue or a Midnight Blue might work if you want something dark but not Black.

I'm gonna say Washington Blue, and with any luck it will bleed out and cover the whole car ;) :D

    what will the wheels be?
grill shell color matched/ black insert
    or
    match the wheels.
cream wheels/firewall and insert would be slick

Van Sickle Paints sell an Implement paint, spray can or gun, called "Case Power White" it's kind of antique cream looking. You can see in on the firewall of my avatar picture. Around here we buy it at the local Bombars farm store. It's very durable, but it takes a little longer to fully cure. You can get anything from John Deer green to a nice industrial gloss gray and anything in between. Gary

Paint the grille black to match the black frame. I like black grilles on '32's
