After seeing all the cars on this link ~ I feel guilty posting one that doesn't look like it's been run over by a D-9 cat. Sure glad the cars pictured on these 18 pages were not scrapped but given new life..

Yes, a lot of the coupes shown here required major restoration to bring back to life, but it is always good to find one in great shape - makes the build process a lot easier. You have one fine example there!

Here is my 5 window. Its made from about 7 different cars. All of which were 5 windows. I will be welding it together this year. Plan to post pics on the process!

We want to see this come together - a big undertaking to make a coupe body out of parts. Let's see some more pics, there are others on here putting coupe bodies together and we could probably learn something from what you are doing.

yeah, it's a shame when guys let good material like that rot into the ground, and won't sell them even to guys who are willing to pay fair value.

We all dream about finding a car like this somewhere behind a barn or shed. My eyes are always peeled every time I head out to rural areas, you just never know what is out there. There are more Model 40 coupes to be found, we just have to keep looking.

The drivers side roof is rusted through in the same general area behind the B pillar. Pretty close if its not the same car.

That is just an incredibly cool pic! Gives me some ideas for the barn find coupe. Really would like to see more pics of #224 if you have them.

The 224 is awesome. All the stock gingerbread makes it even better.

Nice guy owns it, and from what I remember from chatting with him, he bought it approx 8 years ago from Richard Rawlings at Gas Monkey Garage (before he had the TV show). It has a GMG decal in the back window and an old Goodguys tag on the windscreen where it was up for sale at one of their shows. Very cool car

rdlands34.jpg IMG_0177.JPG Here are my 2 cents in. 34 is a long term project. The 33 is going to be run looking exactly like this.
