Hot Rods Pinion angle for new axle swap

    Gotta 1950 Plymouth, swapping out the rear axle to a ford 8.8. Im swapping out the motor also to a v8. What would be the correct pinion angle for this swap, Thanks

    Swap the motor first. Once the motor and trans are mounted, measure the angle of the out put shaft of the trans and make the pinions angle equal and opposite - in other words, if the motor is pointing down at 3°, then angle the pinion Up at 3°
