Even though the Boston Tea Bag was only running on 6 cylinders..........I HAD AN AMAZING TIME! Tried to remedy my cold with beer but that didnt work.

Chopper party....off the hook, those dudes are fucking crazy! The dude in the room next to us decided to bring his bike into his room and REV the shit out of it at 3am.....in his hotel room WITH the door closed.....Felt like the biker scene from Weird Science! I got 1-1/2 hours sleep that night.

I have to say the grudge match method is much more fun than eliminations, I think most would agree. It just makes the day so much more fun.

Mel, my man.....all I can say is........shit goddam.

In closing, I hope the Oilers find thair plaque. Really sucks when you invite people to play in your sandbox and they steal your shit!

Thanks to Melvin and the Oilers for an amazing experience . I laughed , I cried and I think I even wet my pants. It was an honor to be there and I hope to make it out on the sand every year.
Hope to see other clubs and individuals inspired by this event start similar races across the country. The feeling of running an old hot rod to the wood for bragging rights can't be beat.

It was great to see everbody in Wildwood, great town, thank you! I've been looking at pics all day and I can stop. lol don't sell the roadster Ray. amazing time! well done Oilers!!

 

Thanks to everyone who shared photos what a great bunch of cars and what an event. A bucket list item for us West Coast guys for sure.
I can see now that the 48 will need a hitch to pull the roadster with.
