The chassis itself suggests Tatra T11 or one of its subsequent derivatives (up to T57), though those had flat-twin engines. Perhaps a Tatra-based special? The clue would be whether it has a Ledwinka-style twin-ring-gear differential or conventional U-joints/CV joints on the final drive.

    T11 chassis:

You mentioned Steyr recently. I've long thought that these Tatras and the Steyr T55 represent what the VW Beetle ought to have been.

I did a lot of the work on the yellow and black deemster with Jo rose from JR vintage , started life as a STD deemster we lengthened the chassis and lots of other stuff , then built the body from a drawing we did from four or five period pictures of the car

    Ned,

Off course, it must be some Tatra based special, or DIY - some type of the front-engined, rear wheel drive Tatra autos. Even the wheels look similar! In thirties, many central European, especially German manufactures were experimenting with similar solutions, combined with aerodynamic bodies, that led to VW-beetle... But, more about that later! (who was stealing from whom)
Attached are some phtos with interesting chassis, including one "modern" Tatra special...

    Ciao, Zoran

After looking around the 'net, I think it is a NAMI-1. That wasn't a familiar make, so I looked it up in the Beaulieu Encyclopedia of the Automobile. The NAMI-1 was built between 1927 & 1931 by the Spartak Works of Moscow. It was a RHD 1.16l v-twin with a backbone chassis. Production estimates run as high as 400. The rear axle had no differential, apparently to aid traction on Russia's poor roads, but this led to handling complaints. I could not find a period photo of the chassis, so I don't know if the engine is original. I did see this photo of a surviving NAMI-1 front end on German Wikipedia. Sorry about the quality. NAMI-1_engine.jpg .

Here is what the swing arm rear end can do. With a locking diff. you would be in real trouble.

The epitome of what a car should look like IMHO.
What is the engine in the GN Parker? Looks similar to OX5 valve gear, but has to be aircooled.

    Hello SR100 and Ned,
Thank you on information and nice photos of NAMI-1: mistery is solved.
For most of us, USSR and before that old-Russian history of motorisation is quite gray zone, with a lot of interesiting expamples and mechanical solutions...

1921 Aerocar cyclecar. The Aero Car was the size of a Cyclecar. This two passenger Aero Car weigh in at 150 pounds, wheel base of 60 inch, tread of 30 inches and sold for only $160.00. This automobile was really driven by propeller. The motor could be started from the seat, one lever controlled the engine while a foot lever controlled the brake.

The thrills of an Airplane, the safety of an automobile and the economy of a motorcycle. All were combined in a propeller driven American Automobile designed by Sheldon F. Reese of Huron, SD.

The Aero Car was capable of 60 MPH and equipped with a twin cylinder engine of six horsepower. Production was unlikely but a protype was built. Image by Marc, text by R.A... 1800242_748845185151797_5396028432957602764_n.jpg

Come to think of it, there were in the Vintage era a number of cars which shared this unusual combination of solid front axle and IRS. Steyr had a few, too, like the Type XII which I believe was the definitive Vienna taxi for many years:

But we digress, as these are way beyond cyclecar scale :)
