Well I don't post very often (post count in the single didgits) but as the title states me and my hotrod were featured in the Houston Chronicle today. I thought I'de share it with the HAMB! http://blog.chron.com/heidispics/2014/10/1936-ford-hot-rod-built-with-care/ I hope the link works and I also hope y'all enjoy! Too old to be 19
Haha, not yet but I did buy a few copies. For what It's worth the website only shows old photos and since then I've done some major work to it. Ill have to figure out how to post pictures so I can show a more "updated" version!
It was in the grey primer when we bought it, but recently put the red primer on. The pictures I posted on here are as it sits today. Thanks!
Wow, Cool ride & famous. so, how did you meet Heidi Van Horne? hope people reading about you click on Heidi's Pics header above your article
A friend of mine I went to school with last year is her Nephew and I met her at a nostalgic drags maybe 4 months ago? His car was in last week's article. But anyway, shes really cool and had the idea to publish the article today as kind of a way to advertise Burnout Houston this weekend.
Do you plan on painting in the future, or will it be fully primered? If paint is in the works, what color? Either way it doesn't matter, that truck beats the shit out of any ricer most you young guys usually build!!! Keep on keepin on...
Our focus right now is to get everything in one color (primer) and then later put paint on it. Im thinking a dark navy blue. We are also going to pull the engine and trans and paint them gold. Thanks for all the nice comments guys! Too old to be 19
