Chris, that's exactly how I built the seat in my roadster. You may want to run an extra strip of wood down the middle for a bit more strength. I hit a pretty good bump and the very middle snapped...
Ya, ya, I could use to skip Wendy's late night too...

are you using the original steel seat riser also. I need to make a seat for my car and yours is looking like what I will do. Your car is amazing btw.

  3. Looks like you might need a webbing stretcher.

Your interior is simple and simply perfect. You have the ability to know when to push it and know when to leave it alone. One suggestion; turn your air cleaners around so that the openings face backwards and see what you think.

Saw your car for the first time at the GNRS this weekend. What a beautiful roadster! The paint color is exceptional; you mentioned that it's HOK but what are the colors you used?

Here is a photograph by Tom Davison from last weekend. Looks like the most beautiful roadster to me!

Your car looks great! Classic -28/29 roadster on -32 chassis.

  17. That car should have won AMBR.

Very often when putting a '32 Shell on a '28, '29 Model A the shell is too high and the hood never lines up correctly. Casny's car is perfect, the body lines line up as they should. Great color and finish, must be considered one of the classic A's on '32 rails.

This thread is fucked....all the pics have evaporated, as they have in many HAMB build threads. The HAMB is NOT the builder's reference it used to be. Makes me sad. :(

I'm thinking that most of those were lost when the HAMB crashed several years ago along with hundreds of other photos in other threads. Shit happens, we have to learn to live with it or figure out how to fix it and I don't think there is a fix for that.

The only one that can fix the pics are the Original posters and as you can imagine, that is not always possible...

    Yep aware of that.

When you click on any of CCasny's pix the link is to smugmug hosting service.

Reminds me of the Photobucket debacle...

It really boils down to picture storage sites...if Hambers post via the computer hardrive they don't disappear...if the hosting company dissolves the pics in storage do as well...my ride was a build here and 2/3s of the pics are gone...
