My 32 Tudor...49 - 53 flathead powered out of Stockton California...ran as a drag car and street rod in the late 50's and early 60's
Found these at Cruising the Coast.....I think an uncut 5 Window needs these for that finished look under the hood........
I love that intake set up...but I wouldn't have a clue where to start tuning them......Is it Inglese or Webbers?
48 IDA Webber castings converted to efi. Work done by Eightstack www. eightstack.com Hogan Racing fabricated manifold for the Boss 302
Noticed the right rear lower trailing arm nut...it looks loose......When did you get this Roadster......I like it.....your Dad still got the Blue one?
Have you sold the coupe yet? Or are you a double member ? Looks great by the way. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Got the engine almost ready to put on the test stand and break it in...want to break it in and tune it before I install........then I can hook up wires and be finished once it's in
Look, I don't want to come across as a know-it-all, but every time engine stands are mentioned over on Fordbarn the people with far more knowledge than me say to not do it. Or if you must do it, minimise the time spent on the stand. Just long enough to check it runs, has oil pressure and no major leaks. Only when driven in the vehicle can you do the break in, with the piston rings loaded while accelerating the vehicle. Nice looking engine, though. Mart.
That's all I'm going to do...make sure timing is set close, valves adjusted and no leaks......I plan on doinf a Red Neck Break In.........drive it....I've got 3 loops around my neighborhood...one is 2 miles back to the house..one is 4 and I can double it up with the 2 and make it 6 and I have another that is 16.........that way it's not far to walk home...hehehe...or for someone to come get me...I can put 50 miles or so on one in an afternoon riding around where I live...."WAY OUT IN THE COUNTRY"
