This is sitting on my dads lot in the middle of the Nevadan desert.
Trying to figure out how to save it but it would require quite the truck hoist. No way I could get a tow truck into the wash where it rests. Might bring the toolset and take it apart someday... anything of value?

I love the patina on it.

here is some dealer advertising stuff. I posted the black and white one before, but must have deleted it in photobucket. the truck poster is about 4 feet tall. I also have a newspaper ad with the same artwork on it.

the one on the left is for 1949 p***enger cars, "The Most Beautiful Buy of All".

I also have this 1954/55 poster. the junk collector gods were smiling on me when I found a 4 foot tall green picture frame at the thrift store for cheap. IMG_1314.JPG

This 51 came to me a month ago for a semi full restoration. Came to me from N.H. sat under a walnut tree for 18 or so years so it has sheet metal that looks like it spent its life in a Texas hail storm. It is very rough but I will get through it and we have a plan. IMG_20141016_094755_554.jpg IMG_20141016_094831_065.jpg ATTACH=full]2783468[/ATTACH]
