I'm looking for entry lists from any of the events held in the mid 60's.

Not sure if she still has any of the records from there but Bills daughter Cindy owns Texas Raceway in Kennedale Texas. You might drop her an email and see.

Have you checked with old AHRA records? They held many races there under their affiliation with Bill McClure before Bill Hielshire took over the track

Entry lists may have been a part of a race program printed for a particular race. I have a few programs that I have kept form AHRA races in Tulsa but there were no entry lists in them.

Don't really remember street names that much any more , was down by Dewy Grooms dance hall , my folks use to take me with them and lid sleep in car . I do remember going to CA though , I was just a punk kid and would go over with a guy that was teaching me , his name was Bob Knox and his dad owned Knox paint .

Hey Bobby(Custom Automotive) wasn't AEECO(Automotive Engineering & Equipment Co.) down on Industrial?
That's the only hot rod shop I remember on Industrial.

When I was in high school Bob and I went to the first couple of meetings of the Dallas Area Street Rods , but I got grounded for skipping school to go racing . How is Bob ,haven't seen him since the 70's ? Last I saw him he had a model A sedan delivery in his back yard .

Right you are Bob...AEECO was on Irving Blvd.(sort of the extension of Industrial).
COOL pic from the Valley Greybeard! That shut-off hill brings back memories.

That shut off hill ended in a big net , then the road and a small house across the street . Was there one time , don't remember year , when a rail job went off the end off the track and missed the net and we'll it wasn't pretty .
The valley was also a sports car track and I raced go karts there . Great memories .

We used to sell our trophys back to them at the end of the night to recover our entry fee.
We were very poor racers and trophys didn't mean much in the 60's.
I would like to buy one back to at least have one from the days I raced there (early 60's)
PM me if you would consider selling the one you found.

Here's some art I did several years ago of Green Valley Raceway.
The Ram Rods Club raced this in the mid '60s.
