HEY DOC!! Big WhooRah out to a fellow SF Warrior!! Sounds like you guys need to do some serious ass kicking over there with your youth. We have some problems here, but not that pronounced.

I'll raise a glass to you and yours this evening!

We have three kids in the USAF. One in the middle east now and one got back from Iraq in February.

Not a vet myself but damned proud of my kids who chose that path and all who serve with them.

A big thanks from a proud dad to all of you.

It's very good to hear a thank-you from those who are saying it.
A very long time has passed since serving in the Army. I can count on my one hand the number of thanks rec'd over that period. However, got one just a few weeks ago...a complete stranger that had noticed the "Innkeeper" license plate surround that a buddy sent for Christmas one year.

My thanks go to those who have served and unfortunately did not return home.

Thanks also to retired, former and active service members; where-ever they may be.

I spent 13 1/2 months in Vietnam with the 82nd Airborne and nobody was saying thank you when I came home in 69 so really appreciate the way vets are treated and respected today. Thank you!

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who served our nation and God Bless those who gave all in the defense of our liberties. Say a prayer for those in uniform still in Iraq and Afghanistan and those assigned to duty in Africa.

I remember Veterans Day as Armistice Day. When in school, at 11:00 AM, pm 11 November, ther was a moment of silence, when everything stopped and we put our heads down to honor all veterans of all wars and conflicts. Now it is a day when Veterans go to work and the government takes the day off.

I still take a moment to remember all Veterans, and reflect on the fond memories of those I had the honor to serve with.

Thanks to all our veterans on HAMB, and Thank You for your service.

My late wife stated "A woman can never have too many shoes" when Imelda's stash was discovered. She is buried in good company at our Veteran's Cemetary.

    Welcome home!!
