Who has winter projects planned and what are they?? I can't wait for the snow to start flying( not really ) so I can spend the winter in my cozy little shop working on an A coupe I've had waiting it's turn for a year now.. I get most of my work done in the winter months.. So what projects will keep you guys busy this winter?? Yea I know, some of you guys have winters like your summers and probably never get anything done on your hot rods....

I'm just gonna keep plowing through the cabrio. I need to make trunk hinges, re-do part of the hood. get the seat upholstered, make a header bow and try to get a top on it. Not much really. Tim

As soon as I get the header removed the '29 Steelback core is off to the blaster, goal is to have a body in primer by Spring. Bob Slant Window.jpg

Hopefully I can drag my butt out in the cold to finish this 49 Fleetline.

    Hey Scrap,

I can play. Doing a 31 roadster on and A frame with a 50 flattie in it. Just getting to the mock up stage now and working out steering, motor mounts, pedals and so on… Will be blowing it apart over the winter to fine tune, grind, paint, you all know the drill! Excuse the shots as my shop isn't wide enough to get side shots!

Gonna tear into my car shown on the left as my avatar. Discs up front, new tranny mount for the 700R, coil overs in the rear, lumpy Comp cam, six pack on the engine, and the start of a decent interior. Hope to have it back on the road by mid April as the snow leaves..

I just started putting a friends 40 Ford Coupe back together for him . He took it all apart and now his health won't let him finish it. Should keep me busy for a few months.
Will try to get some pics of it tomorrow to post.

Going to build either a 32' or 33/34' pickup with a (ahem) modern drivetrain to be used as a daily driver next year and on.

I will be starting on my 30 sedan shown in my avatar this weekend. Will be pulling the engine to do a complete make over. Installing a tri power set up and giving her a complete paint job.

Have now begun the build on my A coupe. Don't know when it will be done!
    101_3483.JPG
Plans are for a 345 Olds with 4x2's, Lasalle box and a 9 inch out back.
Tear down has started, much to do. Going to pie cut the firewall to move the cowl out to the outside of the frame rails etc etc.

Hope to start getting some momentum on my Coupe project after being stalled with a move west, etc. Had Clarke Hot Rods build me a pinched 32 frame. Want to get it up into a roller, with the body mounted. I'll do a build thread once I get moving. Looking like it'll be a 322 Nailhead.

Plan on selling off my project cars and a ton of stashed parts with the intent of buying a driver in the spring.

I feel like a slacker after seeing everyone's winter projects, all I have on my agenda is to fix a leaky intake manifold and sand and paint the interior of the cab on my truck.
