Wow. What a read! I was glad this popped up in my emails. Just re-read the whole thread for about the third time. This has got me fired up to get more work done on mine.

After spending all week finishing inner fender lip's, rear inner fender's, etc. I took the trunk lid back off and primed the underside and the lip and trough. The small flaws and areas that will probably never be seen are coming togeather. Hopefully I can finish to the point of being ready for a final light coat of urethane fill this week. Then thanksgiving weekend she can be wet sanded with 320.
Today I finished pulling the driveline and torque tube apart. I had a couple helpers inspecting my work. After sanding the powder off I took the tube and shaft to Brian ( aka Hot Rod Packard ) to machine and install the overdrive in the torque tube. Hopefully I can get the rear end back in before I am ready to set the body back on the frame. If all goes well I should have her in paint before Christmas.

Holy smoke! What an amazing build kippers 34! I love it. It reminds me a lot about an old Wilmington custom that Howard Gribble just "discovered"; Frank Sandoval's 1936 Ford:

What grille are you using? 1939 Nash?
Narrowed running boards would have been ***s on this one...like Bud Unger did on my all time favorite '36 ;)

I look forward to follow this build! What color have you planned for it?
