Very nice work, and the cab save was impressive to say the least...keep it coming.

Nice brackets and your welding is really neat! Always keen to see 32 truck threads as I'm halfway through mine. I'm glad my cabs a bit more solid than yours was!! Fendered, or not?

I knew pretty early on into the build that I wanted a cowl mounted clutch and master cylinder combo so I built a bulkhead, firewall brace whatever you want to call it, used industrial panel bond along with a series of small welds to hold everything in place Eventually it will tie into the rest of the truck body and also give me a place to mount my electrical ect.

So for the past few months I've been going back and forth on what I want to do for exhaust I considered just using some corvette manifolds, then I thought about trying to find some Fenton manifolds, but I always liked the looks and simplicity of early Headman headers so I started searching for a useable pair not having much luck I continued to move forward with the build. A few weeks later I made a trip to Ponca city to pick up my backing plates from Joe Casto I asked him if he had any and he said he's got one good one and a not so good one so I bought them as a pair thinking I could work some dents out and make them good enough to use. I got them home sand blasted them clean and started to work some dents out it didn't take me long to realize it was more work than it'd be worth so then I figured I can build a jig around the one good header I had and build a set from scratch. I then I decided if I was going to all the trouble of building new headers I would spend a little extra time and money to build them out of stainless, the flanges we're cut out on a water jet table by mid west machine in Amarillo.

That's called Creeping Elegance...and it's been the blight of many a rodder...me included.

Yeah its hard enough to pay for life's day to day expenses then you build a hot rod on top of that it can get stressful to say the least, but I always try to stay true to what I want in a hotrod (within my means) and work extra hard to achieve my goals.

I like that engine mount. Want to do something like it with my front mount 283.

I got the engine mount from RJays speed shop, I'll probably add some metal along the bottom side for extra strength, I'm sure it's fine the way it is but better safe than sorry.

Cool. I knew they did a Hurst style mount but I like this one better.
