I really like what Ryan has done with his "new" truck dash. I'm going to do the same with my truck. Although he may be disappointed because I'm leaning towards newer gauges that have the vintage look. I have a bunch of old stuff, but I want to save them for something a little more interesting than my Unibody.

 

This is my 40 dash; I had the vision in the 60s, did most of the sectioning in the late 70s and finished it in '14

 

Its been years and I still love my dash:

SW gauges in a Knecht Mariner panel and WWII stuff. The battery cutoff switch under the F-6 Hellcat pilot seat is a B-25 Bomber fuel tank selector switch...pull the trigger on the P-51 Mustang control stick grip starts the car. Door locks are also P-51 tail wheel locks.

 

no parachute...but the header panel had a row of aircraft circuit breakers instead of a fuse panel

 

Eight frickin gauges lol!

 

Wingnutz - I believe this is a 1934 Olds dashboard. This photo was in Ryan's original post. I really like the look. This was prewar I believe.

Cully, I was hoping you would put your roadster dash in this group as it is one of the BEST I have ever seen........Just makes me drool looking at it...

I was lucky to find a Zephyr dash for my 32, got the original lincoln gauges in it .

 

I have one too but I am thinking of going with S&W gauges instead of stock. Still trying to decide on a layout.

Zephyr's had really cool Deco designs.

I had a chance at a complete 1937 Zephyr coupe 9 years ago for $6k but I thought he was a wee bit high and he wouldn't budge from that price.

Silly me when I saw a couple of them sell for close to 6 figures!

 

I used a '50 Ford gauge. Tried to keep it simple.

 

My 36 dash narrowed and converted to RHD
