A recent thread about Model A's and 32 frames got me thinking. Fenderless Model A Coupes with their original frames don't get the attention the 32 railed cars do. But they should. Let's show them that A's with their stock frames are cool too!

Fenderless fellows, show us your Model A Coupes running original frames.

  2. <--- heres my start. Still gotta finish up the metal work. Then on to the frame.

[IMG] You guys got it!!! I can't hold a candle to you guy's torch!!! This is my Dad's HOT ROD. He had this car in his family's garage for several years. I happened to see it 3 yrs ago when I was up there. I asked him, "what do are you gonna do with it?". He said he wanted to make a HOT ROD like whenhe was in high school. I asked him if I could do it for him. I was going through a bad time in my life and I needed something positive to do. (No drugs! I just got back from a combat zone, 3 yrs. 7mos. and 8 days, and my ex wanted a divorce a week after I got back!!!)
He said "Sure, but ya gotta build it the way I did! " I didn't know much about flatheads, but, I DO NOW!!! That is what he wanted. Traditional !! The way he did it. I couldn't make a new frame, because this one was original and it had the ser.#'s stamped in it. It was cracked and bent, but he wanted it !!! It took a long time to fix it but I got her done!!!!!!!! I could write a book on all that has been done to her so far. Heck I'm doing one now!! But she's coming along and this is where I'm at !! I hope you enjoy !! This insanity has kept me sane !!! LONG LIVE OLD SCHOOL !!!!

Do you have any pics of how you did your frame covers that you would share? Looks like they flow with the body kinda like a 32 frame. I like it . Bill

I don't think it matters if you own it as long as they look good. I don't even have an a frame yet though I hope to remedy that soon.
