South of the Border brings back memories of the day I left Florida where the temperature was around 75 and sunny in my shorts and a tee shirt and by the time I pulled into South of the Border that night it was 32 degrees and the guy who came out to pump my gas had on earmuffs and a winter jacket on.

Here I was standing in shorts and a tee shirt and sneakers freezing my ass off.

Funny how old pictures bring back all these old memories.

Pasadena, CA, the tall steeple at left is the First Baptist Church on Marengo St...at least '58 as there is a '58 Buick in the gas station parking lot.
