    I'm a fan of black steel wheels. Not familiar with what it takes to lower that..I'm assuming leaves in back. If you could lower it all the way around I would go black steel wheels with white walls.

    As far as lowering - Can you reverse the rear spring front perches? I did that on my '46 Ford to lower the back. I had Eaton Spring (Detroit) make new front springs with the proper arch for the front end.

    As far as wheels go - I too would like to keep the black steel wheels. My problem is I have late model 15"s on the front to clear the disc calipers and early Ford 16"s on the rear. I'd like baby moons and beauty rings but it will require two different types/sizes so I too am open to suggestions.

    Search the hamb. There are a few threads on how to lower one. Tim with the y block bonneville truck flipped the front springs.he has a whole thread about it. Nice truck. Love the 57-60 fords. Good luck with the truck.just make sure you do a build thread
