Beat me to it. Has to be a styling exercise, check out the "scoops" in the leading edge of the hood too. Too bad it never made production, needs a Vista Cruiser roof too.

The back half looks more '67 Pontiac than it does Oldsmobile IMHO.

While some thought customized Corvettes looked cool, this is the way many wrecked Corvettes were fixed back then as it was cheaper to put on the one piece aftermarket custom front clip. If you wrecked a Corvette back then and wanted it fixed to look original, you picked up every piece of fiberglass at the crash site so it could be glued back together.

Looks like downtown Lincoln, Nebraska circa WWII or shortly after (gas ration stickers in windshields). Looks like the Stuart Building/Stuart (now Rococo) Theater on 13th & P in the distance.

  8. Those "scoops" are behind the hidden headlights.

The first thing I noticed was the Morris Minor(top right) and the Vauxhall wagon in the middle of the intersection.
Then I saw the Hillman dealer sign below Westgrove Rambler and what looks like a Hillman wagon in the front of the lot and an Austin sedan near the Morris Minor!!. All these English cars already on the scene in the early 60's by the looks of things.

Where I got it from it said it was a GM styling study, that one of the guys brought home one day.
Said later on it ended up with a plow on the front of it for clearing snow.
