lined up... needs to be 31.25" apart or 15 5/8" equidistant from the center... i can achieve this, but need to remove the old brake lines... as they are dead in the way Whisky is back!
My x-member will tie in nicely also... but the frame will need to be boxed leaf spring mock up aft view driver side passenger side... will weld threaded bungs here... and here... To accept the shocks... Ordered p and j hangers also to tie the back end in... More to follow Whisky is back!
I also ordered the steering box/pitman arm and mount... I will re-use my front shocks for the rear set up. Also need to rebuild brakes, lines etc... Quick question... Will grinding the ridge off the rear axle housing cause any issues, as I want a nice fit for the hangars?? Whisky is back!
Rotate the front crossmember that the ladder bars connect to so the mounts are straight down. That should make the bars straight up and down instead of angled funny. Will also prevent unnecessary bind at those front bar mounts.
Thanks for the input... can you expand on this please as the P/J instructions have it angled??? It seems to fit very well at the angle, and refuses to sit up and down as I tried that first???
I had reviewed this and got the info as above... in Instruction sheet 2011?? please advise Alchemy...
Align the front mounting bolt CL directly below the crossmember tube CL. The bars should then be absolutely straight up and down, and the clevises at the back end should be directly above the other. I've got no other way to explain it unless I come over there and change it for you.
Thanks man... will piece it together, knock out all the correct angles/distances per the instruction sheets and follow ur advice... and see where i end up
So back to the rear end... brake lines removed... not too bad actually this bracket needs hacked off Other side... may save these ends to use with new lines... after the hack attack Whisky is back!

Only thing I don't have is the rear shackle assy but will figure out something temporarily... rear hanger looks like the little elfs even carved writing into them... So sweet! shock slugs goes together like this... side view looks like Darth Vader's helmet!! Only annoying thing is that the writing the elves carved just for me is upside down in the final set up... ;( Whisky is back!
