Weren't all 57 Bonny converts fuel injected? Maybe I'm wrong but maybe the drivetrain was complete which would at least somewhere explain the price.

That is correct, I had forgotten that.

 

I remember there was a radical kustom kaiser in a junkyard called Dwiers? (not sure) in Witchita Falls Tx. It had a carson top, Buick ports in the hood, Merc grille, and pearl white paint. Another wrecking yard had a 57 ranchero, with canted quads. sure wish I could find the pics, this was 20 or more years ago. Anyone seen em?

@ Barn Hunter--That '53 Ford looks like a builder for sure, as does the '60. Surprised that you can find anything in the Savannah area that is not rusted to precious memories. The Mack fire truck looks very solid and complete.

 

Really like that 53 Coupe! Rare and scarce one then and now!

 

Perfect candidates for a Derelict project!

 

I have found quite a few around without lots of rust. The 60 was too much $, but the 53 can be had for under a grand. There's a bit more rust to it than meets the eye, but it is a builder.
