I picked up this frame today and would like to know what this front end is. It has been tacked to the frame. It's 5 lug. Here are a few shots of it. I'd like to buy the stuff to rebuild it but I need to know what it is first. Thanks

Nothing I recognize. Possibly off some small pickup with the looks of that crossmember. At any rate I'd think you have about 150 lbs of s**** metal there to cut off and haul off to the s**** yard.

Bingo, they were the hot set up for street rodders before the Mustang II.

Most of the guys reversed it around from the way this one is mounted. HRP

Some sort of Ford Convertible? I say that because of then lower A-arm strut and the X in the frame. But I'm a Chevrolet guy, so it could be almost anything. I am Butch/56sedeandelivery.

There are MANY better suspensions to use that will be much cheaper to buy the rebuild parts for. If you need IFS, get a Mustang II and the rebuild stuff will be cheap. And the geometry will be much better, with disk brakes, and R&P steering. Don't waste your time on the Crovair.
