I'm building a new body for my daily driver A this winter. Going for early to mid 20s style. Should be more than appropriate.

Hahaaa... No, that's not my panel truck.

That's a very warmed up 4 banger, with a wood conversion. Project in the woks still.




This is the 34 panel Tommy is referring too. I got this great ride from him. Anyone that doesn't know of Tommy, needs too.

He has been hot rodding, racing, engine building since a young chap in the New England area. He's a living legend. His garage and cars our as cool as one could hope to own. And one hell of a nice guy too. We want Tommy at Trog!!!

I even suggested, Thee Pete Flaven escort Tommy to the beach for us. I think Tommy is even a little scared of the Pete weirdness. I knew I liked that Tommy! That Pete is some kinda StRaNgE!!! Hahaaaaaa...

Tommy, the truck is not finished.

It still needs the firewall painted black. I'm also going to paint the windshield dark grey like the bodies details. The panel has some great old time simple stripes on fenders you cant see. All done by the legendary Glen Weisgerber.
I also want to put something on doors. The panel got painted and lettered in a mad rush for Trog, just days before. I need to get back on it. Also love to get a passenger 32 grill shell and a hood top.

Mel, thank you for the kind words, you are really "TOP NOTCH". its guys like you that keep the TRUE tradition of hot rodding alive and i say its a pleasure to know you !! and i know that everybody knows how hard you work to make this event something special for everyone ! Mel, i forgot to say how neat your panel looks and i'll keep my eye out for a 32 hood and grill, did you want a commercial or pass. car shell ? and if anybody is looking i came across a real neat original 1947 Tourette teardrop trailer. thats for sale not far from my shop. if you google tourette teardrop trailer there will be some images of them.

 

Hey all, I wrote my pal Tommy privately. I sent dirty pictures to Pete too, cheer him up. His pee pee shrinks in this miserable weather, he gets so moody. Hahahaaaa

Tommy no you are the true gentleman. I have to say I was a bit sad when I saw your panel without the "carusso flathead expert" across it... maybe I will put that logo back on your 37 pickup when I drive it down to NJ next year.
