Yes I would but my granddaughter would be VERY sad. I want a coupe. She says it just wouldn't be the same, she is 11. Bill
For the right price I might. Only problem is that "51 392" has been claimed by my son for my 6 yo grandson. But if I can get my grandson involved and he continues to want the Model A coupe, still to be built, that may change and some garage space would be freed up.
I made sure I wouldn't sell it by putting the title in my and my sons name. Not that its so valuable or such a great car but because of the memories. My son raced this car for years and spent a lot of his own money on it. I let him keep all his winnings and build up a fund until he could by his own race car. He has just as many busted knuckles and sweat in this car as I do and we spent hundreds of hours working together on it. I want him to have it when I'm gone and he can do what he wants with it. I have a granddaughter [his] that is racing Junior Dragsters and we are thinking about putting her in it next. Maybe then I will get that "chopped T" that I've always wanted.
Not for sale, I really enjoy driving my 40, and I'm typically a Chevy guy Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
The dog not a chance! Come to think of it, the car either... Baring a life threatening reason (and id have to be three breaths from dead) i see no chance of my 32 going anywhere. Tony
Everything is for sale. We have had this chevy for over 10 years. I would hate to fix another one. We would drive this cat anywhere.
haha, I guess for the right price ($$$), or if it was to be reunited with the Impala it was born with.
Never. It is my first car. Bought my 55 Chevy in April 1977, when I was 14 years old and paid for it with my paper route money. I've known the car since I was 8 years old. Since I don't have any kids, I'll probably be buried in it. I do change my avatar, from time to time, though.
SHOW ME DA MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides its just a picture I ripped off of somebody elses machine. Oldmics
No way! Dreamed of it too long. Now that I have shared building and 18k of miles of pure bliss in 30 months with my wife of 20 years she'd be rid of me before the coupe. Starting work on the second child for her, a 32 Pickup...Already trying to convince her that it will be fun, but it will be the trading material for a 40 Tudor when we need a comfy cruiser in 20 or so years, she says "I'll pay the storage and work the overtime, we can't give away our kids, ever"....
Are you kidding? I've sold it three times since I found the internet!! Also some oceanfront property in Utah, and a really nice bridge...........
You might be able to buy it after I check out. My kids say "Ya can't sell it Dad, we're gonna use it for your flower car" BILL RINALDI
Probably not as it has only been on the road for one season. Another reason to keep it is I have 11 years, a ton of money "invested" in it, and a million hours of build time.
