I just figured out what I need to do to get ready for the meltdown drags.
I just need a good 3 seconds worth of work and then I will be good.

I am going to throw all my efforts at the 409 this year. I have a modified factory 2X4 intake to play with and a basket full of carbs also. Hoping for a third peddle set up also.
I will turn the reigns for the Charger over to some buddies and give them the drag racing bug. That's unless they make me look bad then I will have to show them how its done.

 

Damn I can't wait to see that 409 run!!!

Hey Ric my face don't do much for me either but my wife likes it I should think about having her checked out.

 

I'm with powrshftr should be done putting the new motor together this week let my trany man know that I would like my trans by March and do some chassis mods.

Next week's post might be about some Canadians...I think I have a picture of Scott's car getting towed...that might be some good foreshadowing!

On a serious note, the car count so far is far exceeding our expectations...it is going to be a great year.

Last year I sawed off GoonSprocket's '56,so after the Shaker thrashes your '57 this year,all I need is a 55 to complete the set!

Maybe I will have to go after more than one Koopmeiner...?

For those who don't know me...I just like talking crap...my car is not fast, nor am I a sore loser...

I will start to post the pics here at the same time I make the Facebook posts...Every year I am more impressed with the cars that show up and this year is no different. (I will post Monday's post later tonight)

 

If you only friend car people...keep family and non car friends off your friends list...you can then keep the drama and whining down and like all the car and vintage stuff, because there is a ton of it.

 

Hell Kip,I started a facebook page for the CAR for that very reason!lol!

I gave up my personal Facebook about 4 years ago and it was the best thing ever...like an addict quitting meth.

I now just have one for my car and ONLY the people I want to connect with.

 

So, in anticipation of the Meltdown, we started Meltdown Monday on Facebook. We will post a few pictures each week. We may not get to every car, but we will get to as many as we can. Here is Monday's post and the pics.
