Anyone know where I can find new bits for one of these?? I've looked at the usual eBay, Northern Tool, and Harbor Freight, but can't seem to find just the bits.
You should be able to buy them at any home improvement store, Lowes, Home Depot or Menards in the tool section or auto parts store. http://www.lowes.com/pd_595383-70-D...rSearch=insert+bits&productId=50224763&rpp=32
Try a company called Grangers. They supply all kinds of tools and supplies. If there isn't one near you they are on line.
The ones sold at home improvement stores don't have a big enough shank. http://www.autotoolworld.com/VIM-To...idSearch&utm_campaign=ProductAds&utm_term=All
I'll second the Mac tool truck or try Sears. I've found them at both. BTW the Mac tool bits are guaranteed against breakage.
Thanks... I also found the individual part numbers on the Lisle website... http://www.lislecorp.com/divisions/products/?product=153&division=1&category=11
Snap on. Ya ya there expensive but it will be the last one you buy, break it and they will replace it. ( and you WILL break it again).
I get mine at Carquest. It is only 3 blocks away, so never a problem. The ones from NAPA I used to get were of poor quality. Rod
Finding our Snap-on dealer, then trying to get him to warrenty is more work than what it is worth. Have turned him in to the Company many times with limitted results. Worst Snap-on dealer I have ever met. Rod
