Just got an update on fb from Dylan.Jerry Lee is pretty banged up,but improving way ahead of the timeline the doctors had laid out.More surgery on his leg today.

Looks like Scott woke up with an extra spring in his step this morning.

 

The transformation has started, from running hot rod stock engine to big cubes

Looking good I may have to sneak over and pull a few plug wires to keep up.

 

Come on we want details what kind of cubes? Those look like aluminum heads too.

 

I took advantage of the 40 degree weather and got started on this over the weekend. I don't think the straps are going to pass tech LOL, but do a good job of holding stuff in place.

 

There.Now at least I can reach the header bolts and spark plugs.

How do these work?

 

As I understand it,the idea is to smooth out the incoming airflow and reduce turbulence and reversion inside the plenum.
They're supposed to help more on an over-carbureted motor,which my 289 is definitely going to be!lol!

Can't wait to give these a try
