Took a visit to Brooklands here in the UK at the w/e and saw this one hiding under a cover, didn't really want to pull the cover off :) Wondered if anyone could take a stab at what it is for a bit of fun?
Roadster body, RHD, not sure what the chassis is however?

Looks like someone plopped a roadster body on a ... clunky frame. That isn't front wheel drive, is it?

Was wondering if it was a Land Rover chassis or some such?

Thats a hard one to ID.
But I would go with traditional hot rod, roadster body, British framework. Might be early 50 or late 40 frame.
And the thing that sticks out from the frame ain't FWD, but looks more like a old pre-tube shock absorbers, combined oil and friction.

Where are the other photos? And what is the price for figuring it out? Respect and kind words :D

Did you leave a note?

Doesn't he know that in England he can just pop over to the scrap yard and pull a '32 Ford frame from a junk early Allard?? Seeesh. :)

Nose in air....... *sniff*..... "Oh no old boy, the vehicle is certainly not a so called 'rrrrat rrrrod'. More precisely it is a 'shafted rodent', utilizing quality components of the finest of English motorcars" ......... Bloody Americans

  12. Probably a 32 ford roadster body or coupe-ster,,frame unknown but it's sporting a California tag. HRP

  13. Well contrary to popular belief Calif. does not always mean cool. Well Nor Cal does but from what I understand they are trying to succeed from the rest of the state.

Could be one of those all wheel drive hot rods that were popular in the '90s. if so I hope someone rescues the body from the chassis. ;)

  14. '32 body, no decklid. I'm leery of the top opening.

I'm with you on the cockpit opening. Is that a '34 grille on the left one?
