Notice the rear clip on Sox's car sagging? You can tell by the door gaps. Seems all the Litweight Mopars had this problem.

What a line up. Dusty Rhodes. Big, Vagabond and the Old Master all readily identifiable

That is why Bill Flynn had the Yankee Peddler built on a two door post shell rather than the hardtop.

Hey! That is one of my shots. Brian Hutchesson in his small block Ford powered second gen Topolino at Adelaide International Raceway, South Australia. Probably around '73 as it is still carburetted. The car was recently restored to its earlier Y block configuration.

Looks like Bobby Langley's Scorpion next to Dusty Rhodes.

Not Ivo...Janke and Muravez? Fuller chassis, San Fernando, late '50s....(note to self, don't hit the hay bales!!)...Notice how close the houses are to the track behind the car...this is why San Fernando only ran competition cars between 12-3.....

  17. That's before someone got smarter, and drove the blower directly on the crank ala Potvin style.

Yet another example of a remote blower drive. Using a second engine to reduce the lost hp from running the blower. This has been tried a number of times. Most of the problems roll up under the issue of extra weigth and leaning out the mixture because the remote engine isn't in sync with the main engine being boosted.

Old school technology - sure isn't boring

Jeanie Kolb with one hand on the cage, Leland Kolb holding the front axle on the right. Looks like Joe Koenig? on the left.
