Event Coverage Live from Pomona....GNRS 2015

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Tom davison, Jan 22, 2015.

  1. Beautiful photography Tom. I went to the LARS event last year for the first time in my life. The mountains weren't quite that pretty, a little 'haze' around them :). In any event, if anyone wants to experience a great time, you need to either go to the GNRS or LARS, you will not be disappointed. As a bonus, the NHRA museum is right there too.

Thanks, Tom. Had to miss this year, but I'll be back next time.

I am a sucker for tracknose T's (and A's & B's). Just don't find much love for this beautiful contender by the Chopit's. Guess the 700R4 is the deal-breaker? Gorgeous car. Me like.

Sure, Blake. But too many photos, too little time at the keyboard to even properly sort through them! This is from my phone as we wait in line to get into the show early today.

Jim, that yellow '27 was about the only AMBR contender that's even close to the spirit and the mission statement of HAMB.

Amazing photo's. Thanks so very much for sharing with those of us who don't have a chance to see them in person. Your pix make the event "come alive" for me ...

Tom--Nice shots of Clyde`s 58 Chieftain. Especially the rear 3/4 view. That quarter was the hardest section to fix. All stove in and badly patched and bondoed. I worked on that a few years back now...Glad it still looks good....
