If this is Falling Water, the owner of the house felt the same as you and put in a brick wall for support. Years later Frank Lloyd Wright showed him that he had taken the top row of bricks out! To this day it is still jutting out with no problem

Been gone for a few days, certain that this site could not get any better. I was wrong .... thanks to Chris, Maggie, and all for the fantastic pictures. So many memories!

  3. The Hotel? Sisters Hotel, Hotel Sisters, Bronco Billy's Ranch Grill and Saloon - she's had a long run, our friend John Tehan is one of the owners. My uncle and some friends owned it when I was a kid (it wasn't open to the public at that point) and used it as a base camp for chukkar hunting and staying there when we all went skiing up at Bachelor. The bar was that time an apartment where the scariest old (to us kids) lady lived, who would pop out her door at the bottom of the stairs to yell at us kids to keep quiet and get out (!?!), I like it better now.
