According to George Kl***, this is Ivo in a short lived twin.I don't remember it, thought it was George's own Nye/Frank/Kl*** Pulsator.
Note the lead duct taped to axle.

 

Ivo's "giraffe" car, I think this is the car that lunched at Indy 67.

 

Jimmy Nix was a helluva racer! Killed still racing nitro in the 90's.

 

Probably Don Westerdale in the ramchargers car ( a LOt of guys drove ), Creitz, Greer & Donovan in the far lane.I believe Gene Coleman was driving, before he was killed in the car.

Yes, this is the Dye & Hampton "Two Bad" comp coupe. Hampton ran the right engine turned around backwards. Guess he didn't know about Isky's "left hand" cams.

I've seen a 4 car drag race before, with doorslammers!
I bet that would give the strip's insurance agent a heart attack today. Maybe then too!

It has been recreated, the only thing left after it crashed at San Fernando was the engine...which was used in the recreation...(the accident put Bill Alexander in the hospital for months)
