hey all. name is Glenn. i live in houston, tx. i have been into hot rods since i was 15 and got a '55 chevy for my first car:

it's long gone (sold it in 2000)

i've had a some of other cars that aren't welcome in these parts, lol, but i learned a ton along the way spinning my own wrenches:

and the race truck, still got it, still where most of the play $$$$ goes. '03 ford lightning, ditched the factory roots blower and it now has an 82mm large frame turbo. it is the king of the stable

but she is coming along now that i know what the hell i'm doing, although i just put the project in storage to make room for my son's truck in the shop

i picked up this bas ass mofo buick in the summer of 2013, and i'm trying to get it on the road with a traditional, very mild custom look. i wish i could afford a wild paint job, but for now this paint will have to do:

when i got it home, it was leaking from the TC seal, had to pull the tranny to fix that, then i did a power front disc brake conversion using a scarebird kit. it had no springs in it when i got it and i am still tweaking the ride height. i put some springs in, but not happy, and going to try something else.

and recently, my son has decided he wants the '55 apache that was the parts truck, so we got him a replacement cab for it and he got to stripping things down

the theme is traditional for his truck. lowered some on a straight axle with steelies and WWW's is the plan for him. flat black with a red interior and a heavy red tint to the bed wood stain is the plan right now.

one day i hope to pick up a 5 window model a and a 32 roadster so i can post in the hot rod forum here too
