  1. No, that was the NorthWind I posted a few days ago. That was the twin to the MajiCar.
There were quite a few tough AA/FD's in Oregon and Washington then, Ron Salisbury, Hank Johnson, and of course, Jerry Ruth to name a few.

Now I'm confused...this was the car I was thinking of:

    Bevs-pose-1.jpg

    Bevs-pose-2.jpg

    Bevs-pose-3.jpg
These pictures and caption from Don Ewald's WDIFL site:

Three shots from a photo shoot of Cordy Jensen's "Bev's Steak House" AA/FD in 1967. This was a really nice Fuller "Magic Type" car. Cordy ran it for two years then, after he crashed at Woodburn, he was recovering in the hospital and McCulloch and McCutchen brought it to Fuller to repair it. After that it was sold to someone who was connected to Scotty's Drive-in. The car became known as the Scotty's Drive in car and Ed "The Ace" McCulloch drove it for a while.
The car was owned by Gordy Jensen & Bob McCabe, and co-sponsored by KPIR radio and Bev's Steak House in Eugene, Oregon.

Maybe it became the "Northwind" after Fuller repaired it?? This gets confusing!

  3. Hmm. It looks like there was the first Woody car, then maybe a Fuller? I dunno.
The guy to ask is Marty Strode. Marty?

  4. That's Fred Bear, S&S Racing, Alexandria, VA. I believe the track is Aquasco Dragway, MD.

I don't think that it is the Creitz car in the far lane. Color is right but the tail is not and it is not a Don Long car (steering linkage and radius rods)

Never cared for 4 wide drag racing and I still don't today. It's why I don't like Z-Max dragway.
