Is anyone on here familiar with an Econoline called the Wisconsin Madman? I saw a YouTube video of it and it appears to have a manual trans. I'm really curious how he set up the shifter & clutch linkage. Any info/links would be appreciated.

I've wanted an early Econo since before I could drive. missed some nice ones passed on allot of turds. been driving for over 35 years now and finally picked up a CHERRY!
A 61 thats been here in Az. all its life. Zero rust and only a few minor dents. The int. has it s original dk blue paint that shows a sheltered life.

Plans are to keep it clean and simple. a suspension drop (no bags) with a Chubby Chassis independent front with a manual rack, 8 inch rear,4 wheel disc, big and littles, and 302EFI/AOD with AC.

Color will be somewhere in an orange pearl with dark tans and browns for the int.

For now I'm running the wires.

Haven't seen it before, but judging from the wheel offset, I'd guess a Eldo/Toronado start.
They did use an offshoot of that drivetrain in the GMC motorhomes (RWD) for a while.
The size of this seems to be more car-based.
The headlight buckets scream early to mid 70s too.
Wonder what the bumpers were from?

Okay, so I searched AFTER typing the stuff before.
