Hi all, I've chopped my model A coupe, had the laminated gl*** cut and I'm about to install the front screen in the frame. I've seen somewhere, a guy installing it using screen sealer and leaving out the rubber. I've looked for ages but can't seem to find any information. Anyone used this method or am I best to buy the rubber bedding and do it the original way?
    Cheers, Ron.

Do it right, the rubber isn't expensive and reinstalling your windshield correctly you will be able to open it on warm days for added comfort.

The glued in windshields are a street rod thing.HRP

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. I would not dream of bonding the frame, it's got to be opening. The post I spotted was the gl*** being bonded in the frame, but your right the rubber is the best way to go.
    Cheers, Ron.
