That thing must be a real shaker to need two balance shafts.

  7. That's not cross breeding Tony, its domination.., its the only thing a small block Chevy piston knows from the instant its born.

What slicks do you guys reccomend? Will they gain me much over hoosier pro street tires?I need about a 29 inch tall, running radial fronts.

  10. Sorry Ric I hate secrets so I thought I would let the cat out of the bag. :D

I run radial fronts on mine and no problems with M/T e/t drag slicks with a slow 1.56 60 ft. Yes, they will hook alot better than the hoosier radials if you having problems getting off the line. Those or e/t streets , hoosiers slicks or quick time pro would work also. It's more of a personal preferance than anything.

  12. Slicks will definitely gain if you have traction problems. I run m/ts on my mustang but plan on running hoosiers on my ford

Has anyone made some seat frames for racing seats using aluminum square tubing, I need to get some ideas. I have the jegs type plastic high back buckets. Trying to save some weight. Also got some fiberglass doors lined up to make up for the roll bar weight and going to remove the rear side regulators and glass windows.

Hey Scott, definitely not the Gas Ronda car but this is one I had in the early 70's. Before I saw the light and joined the General's camp.
