Event Coverage Run to the Sun : Myrtle Beach, SC March 21st Cookout

getting closer and hope you are planning on coming out, bring the gang , wife kids and who ever. Have a Beach just a short walk. a play ground for the kids and a over hang to chill out under . Only need to bring a chair for this eat and meet.

 

Signs of spring are appearing. All of a sudden I have to scramble to get the Cyclone ready! It'll be here before you know it.

I hope to see some of the same faces and new ones this year. If you have not already, post a photo of your ride you'll be in!

I'll definitely drive the big blue Caddy down there.
Unfortunately, the wife didn't want to make the trip.

 

Yesterday and today's weather across the state is cold and icy. Come to the beach to thaw out! March will be here before you know it.

Thanks, SCtattooer. The paint is not ready for prime time (yet) but that's a task reserved for next year. I just purchased this more-door land yacht in late December. She's slowly getting love and attention to make her whole and beautiful again. The previous owner replaced the interior, I've had some engine repair and clean-up work done and right now the transmission is getting a new main output shaft bearing. Later this year the instrument cluster will get rebuilt/refreshed, and the clock and radio will be repaired. After all that, it's time for body/paint work.

 

Looking forward to some warm weather and checking out some cool cars!!!

Man can you believe that February is over and the meet and eat is a a couple of weeks away. I am looking so forward to getting to see some old friends and meet some new people and make some new ones, So lets all make plans to get to the Run to the Sun here at Myrtle Beach and come on out to the state park on Sat from 3;30 until we get ran out, Wife's girl friends and the kiddy's are all welcome. So help make this second year more fun and bigger that last years.

 

Hopefully this crazy weather will be gone by then. HRP

 

Come on Danny . Get an upstate caravan and head to the coast. We would love to have you.

 

I know I'm ready for some warmer weather. Can't wait to see everyone and meet some new people!

Ready, man i went out and got the grill going it should be hot and ready to cook because I am.

 

Got my room booked so I can drive home the next day.
Sure hoping for some sunny Myrtle Beach weather, honestly.

Toucan, I heard someone down south has a bad ass sunbeam tiger with a tricked out interior. Any truth to that rumor???? Maybe you can talk that person into bringing it.
