Here's a quick one..I know you said you wanted a dark color but I couldn't take my mind off an white pearl.

 

Don't listen to Moose ... come to the Dark side.

 

You should have left the trunk off completely and shortened the roof to make it a slantback. My opinion, others may not agree.

I really need to get back into PS... I had a lot of fun with it. You guys are pretty dang smooth with the new lines on that Chev.

Wow, you guys are fast. I like all of them, but what I had in mind was most like Madfish's green version. As much as I like the slant back, not this time. Maybe just a touch more chop and maybe slightly more in the front than back. I am more convinced than ever that the slanted 'B' pillar is the way to go.

Or was it "slope?" I wanted to give you back the chrome bits so it wasn't so '80s, but I gotta get to real work. And as for the 'Vette caps...this IS the HAMB after all!

 

Could someone add a metal visor and painted shiny maroon body?

 

The real one will have the chrome bits and probably moon discs. The slope of the top is just about right. I might consider converting it to a slant back after seeing this.

When I decide to build something, I usually have a firm idea of exactly what I want it to look like, but on this one I can't decide on color(s) and I change my damn mind almost every other day.

How about some color ideas on this mock up photo - wheels, top and body? And maybe two colors on the body with a design like would have been on a late 20's early 30's hop up?

A mint green is a color you don't see too often.....understated and elegant.......so I'm going with that. Also, black wires, a black frame and black radiator shell to complement the windshield stanchions and top.

 

Thanks Ruben and you're right, understated and elegant but maybe not "hot rod" enough for me. The wires look great but I will be using the 21 x 3 disc wheels.

Any more ideas??

 

No prob, Moby....my girlfriend made me watch The Great Gatsby last night, so I think some of that may have rubbed off in my rendering, hehe. Anyways, I'm sure whatever you decide to do to your little hopup, it will look cool.
