Hot Rods I have given up walking down to the shop for the 56 buick

With all this ice and snow we have been having and now they are calling for more tonight.I just take my blue sled and ride it down to the shop .Never have been able to do that here with all the gravel here.Just thought I would change up the subject a little .You all stay safe and warm Bruce.

My fenders hang and wait. I sanded the first coat of bondo inside, but it makes such a mess (dust) I have set them aside for now. I need it to be 25-30 degrees (outside) to sand, and 50 degrees to paint. We have dodged the bulk of the snow this winter, but it's been really cold here too long. -5 tonight, 8 is the high tomorrow.

The cold has been hell on the wood pile this year. But not dealing with the snow like last year priceless.

Hot here. I nearly always welcome rain, but I kinda hope & feel it may hold off for DLRA Speedweek in 3 weeks from now;

We usally don't get a lot of snow here a couple of inches a couple times in the winter . The park 30 minutes from me usally gets clobbered{the Great Smoky Mountians.}They get so much rain up there in the summer they consider it a rain forest.Woke up to this this morning.Bruce.

 

Blowby we don't have much but we are on this mountain top all by ourselves. Great for when I am painting cars.The farmer that owns the other side of the cliff here was riding by on is tractor last summer and thought some one was cooking up meth , till he saw the paint coming out my exhaust fan. We both had a good laugh on that one. Bruce.

 

And we all scoff and made fun of Algore! He B a profit...of sorts!

 

So I take it your sled has no electrical system.

 

I feel your pain, brother. I'm 70 miles away. Woke up to another 4" on top of 4", on top of 6", on top of 6" base. Truck is at the bottom of the drive, but can't get out to the main road anyway.

Just got off the phone with a friend living in northern Minnesota, near the Canadian border.
He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling.
The temperature is dropping way below zero and the north wind is increasing to
near gale force.
His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare.
He says that if it gets much worse he may have to let her in.

LOL, I wish I had a sled! then maybe I could put my two spare banjo rears in the shed with the now partially collapsed roof (note the 3-4' drift on it). That lump behind it is the '17 Dodge.

I used my dog to cut the path to the shed BTW.

 

Rookies !!!! My Goldens have learned how to crawl on top of the snow when it gets to deep, although we haven't had much this year.

 

Old school, my golden retriever loves the snow.Sunny Girl is a rescue dog. Golden retrivers are the best dogs.Shes my 4th one.Bruce.

Don't feel too bad- my sister lives just outside Boston and they have had over 100 inches
so far this winter- I had only had about 50 where I am.

 

Spring is coming but, not soon enough!.lol.Bruce.

 

Buffalo Ny is over the 100 inch mark too, with February being the coldest in recorded history

 

Try Massachusetts on ..... 100 inches and growing this week.
